Shipping Policy

At Tiers of Joy, we carefully package every order to help ensure it arrives safely. Because we offer both ready-to-ship pieces and custom stands created from customers’ own china, shipping procedures vary by order type.

U.S. Shipping

Tiers of Joy offers $5 standard shipping within the United States for completed tiered stands purchased through our website.

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Ready-to-Ship & Collection Orders

Ready-to-ship and collection pieces are carefully packaged at our Houston, Texas studio.

Processing times may vary depending on the item and current order volume. Estimated shipping or processing information provided on the product page should be reviewed before purchasing.

Custom Heirloom Orders

For custom orders, customers send their china to our Houston, Texas studio to be transformed into a handcrafted tiered stand.

After placing your order, you will receive an email from Hello@tiersofjoytx.com with instructions for sending your pieces to us.

Custom orders typically take approximately 3 weeks from the time we receive your china to complete.

Once finished, your custom stand will be carefully packaged in a Tiers of Joy storage box and shipped back to you.

Optional Shipping Kits

For customers who would like us to simplify the shipping process, Tiers of Joy offers an optional Shipping Kit.

Shipping Kits include the protective packaging materials needed to safely prepare your pieces for shipment, along with prepaid shipping labels for the custom-order process.

Shipping Kits are available for:

• Up to 2 stands — $59

Your Shipping Kit will be mailed to you after your order is placed. Please follow the included packing instructions carefully before sending your pieces to our studio.

Shipping Your Own China Without a Shipping Kit

Customers who choose not to purchase a Shipping Kit are responsible for securely packaging and shipping their china to Tiers of Joy.

Each piece should be individually protected and packed securely so that it cannot move during transit. We strongly recommend using appropriate protective packaging for fragile items.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their china to our studio when a Shipping Kit is not purchased.

Fragile & Customer-Supplied Items

China, porcelain, ceramic, pottery, and glass are inherently fragile.

While we take great care with every piece entrusted to us, Tiers of Joy cannot guarantee against loss or damage that occurs while customer-supplied pieces are in transit to our studio.

Customers who arrange their own inbound shipping are encouraged to select appropriate tracking and insurance based on the value and irreplaceability of their pieces.

Damaged Shipments

If a completed order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the item, shipping box, and packaging.

Please keep all original packaging while we review the shipment.

International Shipping

Tiers of Joy offers international shipping to select destinations.

International shipping costs and availability may vary by destination and order type. Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

For custom international orders involving customer-supplied china, please contact us before shipping your pieces so we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Shipping Delays

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times may be affected by weather, carrier delays, customs processing, or other circumstances outside of our control.

We will always do our best to assist if an issue arises with your shipment.
