We're located in Houston, Texas! Our workshop is just west of Houston in Brookshire, where every tiered stand is handcrafted by our small family business. We proudly serve customers throughout the United States and internationally.
How much does a custom tiered stand cost?
Our custom heirloom tiered stands are $75 per stand, whether you choose a 2-tier or 3-tier design.
Every stand includes:
- Professional drilling and assembly
- Premium hardware
- Careful craftsmanship
- A custom Tiers of Joy storage box
What kinds of dishes can you use?
We can create tiered stands from many types of dishes, including:

Can you make a stand from my grandmother's china?
Absolutely.
In fact, it's one of our favorite things to do. Families from all over the country trust us with heirloom china that has been tucked away for decades. We carefully transform those treasured pieces into beautiful tiered stands that can be enjoyed and shared for generations to come.
Do you drill antique and vintage china?
Yes.
We have years of experience working with antique and vintage china, including many delicate heirloom pieces. Every plate is evaluated individually and drilled using professional equipment designed specifically for this work.
Can I choose between a 2-tier and 3-tier stand?
Yes!
Your $75 custom stand includes either:
- A 2-tier stand
- A 3-tier stand
We'll help determine the best layout based on the plates you send.
How does the custom process work?
It's simple!
- Place your custom order.
- Ship your dishes to us (or purchase our optional Shipping Kit).
- We carefully drill and assemble your stand.
- We package it in our custom storage box.
- Your finished stand is shipped safely back to you.
How long does it take?
Our typical turnaround time is approximately 3 weeks from the day we receive your dishes.
Do I have to ship my dishes myself?
You can, or you can make it even easier with our optional Tiers of Joy Shipping Kit.
The kit includes:
- Protective packing materials
- A prepaid shipping label
- Easy packing instructions
Once your stand is finished, we'll return it in our signature storage box.
What if I only have two plates?
That's perfectly fine!
We can often create beautiful 2-tier stands from just two plates. If you're not sure what will work best, send us a photo and we'll gladly make recommendations.
Can you work with mismatched plates?
Yes! Some of our favorite creations combine different patterns, colors, or even pieces from multiple family members. Mixing and matching often creates a stand that's even more meaningful because it tells a family's unique story.
Can you use bowls or tea cups?
Yes!
We can create beautiful designs using:

Many of our favorite custom pieces combine different shapes and sizes.
Can you make bird feeders?
Yes!
Many customers send us extra china to create decorative bird feeders for their gardens. If you're interested, let us know and we'll discuss the best options for your dishes.
What hardware colors do you offer?
We currently offer premium hardware in:

We'll help you choose the finish that best complements your china.
What happens to the extra dishes I send?
If you send more dishes than we use, we'll carefully return every unused piece along with your finished stand.
Nothing is discarded without your permission.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes!
We've shipped our tiered stands to customers around the world. International shipping rates vary by destination.
How are the finished stands packaged?
Every stand is carefully packaged in our custom-designed Tiers of Joy storage box.
Our boxes make storing your stand between holidays or special occasions simple and help protect it for years to come.
Can I send a stand as a gift?
Absolutely!
Many customers send finished stands directly to family and friends for weddings, birthdays, bridal showers, Mother's Day, and Christmas.
What if my dishes are damaged during shipping?
We recommend wrapping each piece individually with plenty of cushioning. If you purchase our Shipping Kit, we'll provide packing materials and instructions to help protect your china during transit.
Can you make multiple stands from one china set?
Absolutely!
Many families ask us to create several stands from one heirloom set so siblings, children, or grandchildren can each have a meaningful keepsake.
